On the following page, you'll find a bunch of computers, tech, and other bits and pieces that I use everyday (for the most part)
Computers and laptops
I have a variety of computers, laptops and the like that I use day to day, and that I keep around to use. I use a mix of Windows 10 and Linux (specifically Fedora), and I plan to move to Linux full time quite soon, since Windows 10 is dying and Windows 11 is just awful. The distro I'd be using is Fedora, just because I think it is just nice to use (and the KDE Plasma implementation it has is pretty decent tbh).Main Computer
My main computer that I use for pretty much everything, runs Windows 10 Pro and Fedora 42 (KDE Edition). More here.
HP Victus 15 2022- Main Laptop
The laptop that I fucking hate: My main laptop that runs Fedora 42 (KDE) fulltime, despite the fact that it doesn't like Linux that much, lmao. More here.
Dell Inspiron 530S
Very slow PC that I keep around just to mess around with Windows 7. It runs Windows 7 Ultimate, because I couldn't for the life of me get any Linux distro booting on the thing. Might soon become the next music playing PC for the hifi system thing I am planning to do. (i mean, a Pentium Dual Core is probably capable of playing FLACs, right? lmao)
Dell Optiplex 7020 - Server (very very WIP)
This computer used to be my main PC until the current computer was built. It spent a couple years just sitting around, picking up dust, until I decided to put it to some good use. So now it is my storage server, hosts my SMB shares, and runs Nextcloud just fine. I tried using Jellyfin but I don't have much storage on there, lmao. Currently runs Fedora 42 (should've used a proper server OS like Ubuntu Server or Fedora server (or even FreeNAS while we're on it) but the server is still WIP and once I get enough parts, I will reinstall everything.)
Phones
For the longest time, phones used to be the main way how I interacted with the internet. I have owned a number of phones, from crappy feature phones back in 2010 to modern smartphones. I am not a fan of current smartphones however, and I think I should probably work on minimizing my usage on them because phones do not help with keeping a level of sanity especially in this year of hell. I have a really specific list of requirements for smartphones, and most of them fail right out the bat:
- have an unlockable bootloader,
- have a headphone jack,
- have expandible storage (like an SD card slot)
It really seems that most phones nowadays, from the exception of the bottom-of-the-barrel phones, lack headphone jacks and expandible storage. It really is a shame that we ended up like this.
OnePlus Nord N10
This phone has been my daily driver for 3 years now and considering the current state of Android right now, I don't think I will be buying another phone anytime soon. OnePlus sucks as a brand, and this phone model isn't really that great when it comes to performance or haaving an up-to-date operating system. I actively avoid Google apps and this phone is mostly degoogled for the most part. This phone runs LineageOS with no gapps installed. More here.
The phone graveyard
This is a table containing every device that I used to own, and why I stopped using it. I have used custom ROMs in most of these devices for the most part.
| Phone | Used custom ROM? | Cause of death | Date |
|---|---|---|---|
| iPhone SE (first gen) | No (for obvious reasons) | Given away to a relative since I wasn’t using it. | 2019-2021 |
| HTC 10 | Yes (Pixel Experience, LineageOS with GAPPS) | Hard bricked | 2018-2019 |
| Moto G5 Plus (the shitty LATAM version with only 2GB of RAM) | Yes (Pixel Experience, LineageOS with GAPPS) | Given away to my dad, he managed to lose it sadly | 2017-2018 |
| Moto G4 Play | Yes (Lineage OS, with GAPPS) | Given away when I upgraded | 2017-ish |
| STF Aerial | No (absolutely no custom ROM support) | Given away to my sister when I upgraded | 2017? |
| M4 SS4045 | Yes (ports of LineageOS and CyanogenMod, with GAPPS) | Cracked screen - dead touch | 2016? |
| Samsung SIII Mini | No | Cracked screen - dead screen | 2015? |
| Alcatel OneTouch ??? | No | Got too slow for daily use | 2012 |
gapps: google apps
Other tech
The laptop pile:
A bunch of dead and broken laptops that I have collected over the years. Most of them were laptops that I used to use, then I gave to my sisters, who then proceeded to use them until they would break or became too slow to be usable.
- Dell Latitude 110L: my first ever laptop that was actually mine, used from 2011 up until it wasn't
usable anymore in 2015. It ran Windows XP, and you can pretty much tell I wasn't careful with it at
all, lmao.
- Sony Vaio VGNsomethingmodelnumberhere: second laptop that I ever owned, used to be my dad's old
laptop until the charger broke and he didn't want to get it fixed. In 2015, I found this laptop
again, and I decided to take it for myself after buying the charger (he wasn't happy about that,
lmao). It was used from 2015 all the way until 2017-2018.

- Dell Latitude E5530: Laptop that I bought for school around this time in 2018, it was significantly
more powerful compared to the awful Sony laptop earlier, it was the laptop that got me through the
last years of highschool and the beginning semesters of college. It was also the same laptop that I
started playing around with Linux too. I stopped using this laptop around 2021 when I got the Dell
Optiplex mentioned above, and it then became my sis's laptop, where she used it until the hinges
broke off, and now it is mine again.
